Sugar, Butter, Salads

This past week…

I also made this Sour Cream Coffee Cake, which is ridiculous. Lots of butter, lots of sugar – channel your inner Paula Deen.

(Liberties I’ve taken with the coffee cake recipe include not using pecans for the topping and instead using almond meal or ground hazelnuts because that’s what I always happen to have on hand. I also use fat-free sour cream, in the hopes that it will make up for the butter…)

And chives and red pepper flakes add a kick to an otherwise simple chicken and mushroom pasta.
